About Join

Join is an independent application. It is not an official dApp of the Blurt Foundation.

Join is developed and maintained by the Blurt witness @nalexadre.

The source code is available at gitlab.com/blurt-blockchain/blurt-blockchain-join, licensed under GPL-3.0-or-later.

What you pay

Join charges no service fee and no commission.

The requested payment consists of the current Blurt network account-creation fee plus the starting balance that is transferred to your new account.

Blockchain operation fees are determined by the Blurt network and may affect the resulting account balance.

Blockchain irreversibility

Blockchain transactions become irreversible once the network reaches finality. From that point on, nobody — including Join — can reverse them.

Your keys, your responsibility

Your account keys are generated and kept in your browser. They must never be sent to Join, and Join never asks for them.

At Order creation, your browser signs the exact referral transaction with your Posting Key. Join validates and stores the signed transaction, then broadcasts it unchanged after creating and funding your account.

You are responsible for securely saving and protecting your private keys. Lost keys cannot be recovered — not by Join, not by anyone.

Service availability

Service availability and an absolute execution time cannot be guaranteed: Join depends on the Blurt network and on public blockchain infrastructure.

Responsible use and liability

Use Join lawfully and with your own judgement. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Join and its maintainer are not liable for losses caused by blockchain behaviour, third-party infrastructure or the loss of private keys that only you ever held. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
